Makers Space, new to Ellimatta in 2019!
Makers Space is a natural progression from coding where young people will have the opportunity to explore their creativity in Science, Technology, Electronics and Mathematics (STEM).
Tuesday nights are aimed at Kinglake and surrounds young creatives grade 6 and above and is more advanced than Wednesday nights. Young people will explore magnetism and compasses, principles of electricity and have the chance to build motors, generators and circuits.
Our local volunteer Mari Nicolazzo will be teaching Makers Space from 5pm until 6pm every Tuesday starting March 5th during Term 1.
Mari our Code Club volunteer facilitator is an approved STEM educator and a retired Engineer and is super excited to get young people on board.
