Makers Space, new to Ellimatta in 2019!
Makers Space is a natural progression from coding where young people will have the opportunity to explore their creativity in Science, Technology, Electronics and Technology (STEM).
Wednesday night Makers space is aimed at young creatives (aged 10 – 15) in the Kinglake Ranges who are new to STEM.
They will get the opportunity to explore robotics, how to use electricity, play with Micro.bit and Makey Makey to make all sort of fun things such as a keyboard from a banana!
Our local volunteer Mari Nicolazzo will be teaching Makers Space from 5pm until 6pm every Wednesday starting March 6th during Term 1.
Mari our Code Club volunteer facilitator is an approved STEM educator and a retired Engineer and is super excited to get young people on board.
